When you purchase an ebook cover, you will recieve a digital file (jpg format, 1800×2700 pixels). It will be sized to be optimal for Amazon and other major retailers.

The designer retains the rights to the original design, and no working files will be available.

All images used in designs are licensed from reputable stock photo sites, or are custom illustration by the designer. No AI is used in any designs. Use your cover as much as you’d like on ebooks, up to 500,000 copies, but you are not granted license to use the cover on any merchandise.

Any ebook cover made by Cozies Covered can be expanded into a full paperback wrap for a print cover, as well as fit to an audiobook cover or box set upon request. We will not work with any images provided by clients, due to license restrictions.

Text changes on premade covers are limited to content, and do not include changes to font or color. No changes to images will be made on premade covers.

Custom design slots are first-come-first-served. Due to the busy writing and publishing schedule of our lead designer, few opportunities for custom designs are available. Deposits of $50 will be charged to all new clients upon scheduling a custom slot, and designs will be returned within 7 days of appointment.

Cozies Covered reserves the right to use both premade and custom designs for promotional purposes.

All designs – both custom and premade – are unique and no focal images will be reused in covers for other series.

I will send you a set of questions about your cozy mystery that will help me to understand what to feature in your design. A very important factor in your book’s success is that it clearly fit within not only the category, but also that it indicates the subtropes or themes particular to your story.

For example, there are popular covers featuring only text and simple illustrations on an off-white background. They can be very visually appealing due to their simplicity. But they are most successful when used only on “British” cozy mysteries, and would be best fit to that niche.

Those sorts of details are everything when deciding what you want on your cozy cover, and that’s exactly what we consider here at Cozies Covered. It’s all about finding the right intersection between your story’s unique character and the trends in the market. There are two options for ebook box set covers: three dimensional or flat. Both are attractive, and either can do well with cozy mystery readers. Your choice will depend on your intended marketing, and how much you plan to use a three-dimensional mock-up of your box set cover in future graphics.
Both box set designs from Cozies Covered include a 3D image (PNG file with transparent background) that you can use to promote your new ebook collection.

Your premade ebook cover will be returned within 48 hours of purchase (and emailing me the changes you would like to make to the text).

Premade designs are only sold once. Unfortunately, no returns or exchanges are available on premade covers at this time. Please discuss your purchase with us beforehand to be certain you are getting a cover that will suit your needs.
